Job Description:

The position of Building Consultant involves providing remedial advice and project management to clients' structural assets.

Key responsibilities include site inspections and assessments, providing condition and defect reports, tender and contract administration, attending client corporation meetings, and liaising with the Director in regular consultant sessions.

  • Carry out thorough site inspections and assessments of buildings and infrastructure
  • Provide expert witness reports and administer tenders and contracts
  • Attend client corporation meetings and provide professional advice
  • Liaise regularly with our Director to discuss consultancy work
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Building Sciences or Construction Management
  • A Builder's license is highly desirable
  • Membership of AIBS is highly desirable
  • A current AU driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • The right to permanently live and work in Australia
  • Be vaccinated for Covid-19
