$90,000 - $120,000 (depending on level of experience)
The Company
This highly regarded consultancy is on the hunt for an Intermediate / Senior Structural Engineer with 2-5 years consultancy experience, to join their team and provide high quality structural engineering expertise to their clients.
This is a brilliant company to work for with a really great culture, they have a tight-knit team and a range of projects.
The Role
Your role as Structural Engineer will be to undertake the scoping, design, construction observation and management of structural engineering projects including residential, commercial and industrial.
- You will manage the design, analysis and construction of structural engineering projects
- Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve successful project outcomes (time, cost and quality).
- Responsible for the project lifecycle, you will scope, organise and monitor progress, seeing them through to their successful completion, actively looking for innovation and improvement opportunities.
- Creating high quality project plans, obtaining stakeholder input, procurement of design and construction resources and undertaking comprehensive and timely reporting to management and clients
- Lead, direct and mentor the work of the Structural Engineering project team.
- Liaise with clients, staff, contractors and sub consultants on projects to ensure these are delivered on time to budget and meet quality standards.
- Manages the client's expectations through regular reporting and feedback to clients and internal managers on progress, costs, risks and expected completion dates of tasks.
About You
- You MUST have 2-5 years structural engineering experience in Australia (or NZ)
- You MUST also have post tension slab experience and experience in the use of Ram Concept.
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong people management and relationship building skills
- Requires a related qualification and familiar with structural software
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on relevant experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
- Can assist with business development of new and existing clients to develop and maintain relationships.
