
Elevate Community Precincts Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in fostering strong relationships with the community, stakeholders, and residents to elevate local precincts, drive economic growth, and enhance public facilities.
- Fosters strong ties and serves as a central point of contact for the community to address and manage Council-related matters.
- Engages with the community to comprehend their needs and leverages that insight for future strategic and operational planning.
- Oversees Council-affiliated community working groups and committees.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Business, Town Planning, Communications, and Community Engagement or equivalent tertiary qualification relevant to the functions of the position OR substantial practical relevant experience, typically 3-5 years in Community Engagement, Community Liaison, and/or Business Management.
- Experience in community engagement and liaison including committee management, issues management, event and project management.
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining robust relationships.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
