We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Drug and Alcohol Counsellor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality counselling support and therapeutic interventions to individuals and families affected by substance use issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based counselling services to clients with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on substance use and related issues

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Social Work or Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in drug and alcohol counselling or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in case management and crisis intervention
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
