Job Role

The role of the Clinical Trials Pharmacy is to provide safe and effective operation of the Investigational Drugs Unit (Clinical Trials Pharmacy). This position requires a Pharmacist with current registration and ability to practice independently.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Professional Qualifications: Current Pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and ability to practice independently.
  • Key Skills: Ability to apply current and good practical therapeutic knowledge in a clinical environment and ongoing commitment to professional development relevant to areas of practice.
  • Business Acumen: Highly developed understanding of the priorities and requirements of hospital pharmacy.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of the requirements and regulations surrounding clinical trials and alternate access programs.
  • Experience: Previous experience in clinical trials is preferred but not required.
