Key Architectural Building Designer Role

The successful Architectural Building Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences, developing detailed building designs and architectural plans using Revit software. They will ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards, while providing creative and practical solutions to design challenges.

  • Job Description:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences.
  • Develop detailed building designs and architectural plans using Revit software.
  • Prepare documentation for council submissions, including development applications and building permits.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Building Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Revit software.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes including DA / CDC / CC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Creative flair with a keen eye for detail.
