Role Overview

The Quality Specialist plays a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives across the organization. This individual will work collaboratively with clinical, operational, and administrative staff to monitor and improve performance metrics, ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory bodies, and promote a culture of continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.

This role involves collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to quality indicators, outcome measures, and client satisfaction surveys. The specialist will assist in preparing internal and external audits, including documentation review, chart audits, and regulatory surveys. Additionally, they will support compliance with accreditation and licensing standards and implement quality improvement efforts in various programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, Health Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field is required. A master's degree in healthcare administration, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or behavioral health quality improvement setting is required.
  • Experience with quality improvement methodologies, electronic health records, and regulatory requirements is also necessary.
