About the Role

The Sustainability team at Macquarie Asset Management is responsible for setting the overall sustainability strategy and ESG framework, providing specialist expertise on environmental and certain social matters, and supporting asset management teams in harnessing ESG opportunities across the portfolio.

As the primary ESG contact for all investment teams across Credit's Fixed Income business, you will drive the implementation and execution of our Net Zero roadmap, including our engagement strategy. You will build strong relationships and leverage the expertise of both the Fixed Income and Sustainability teams.

  • 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in the asset management industry and with a focus on fixed income or equities
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in sustainability or ESG
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate a large, complex and matrixed organisation
  • Commercial mindset, with the ability to apply a sustainability lens to business strategy and outcomes
