Senior Food Safety Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring operations conform to food safety regulations and quality systems requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality systems.
- Document control and report non-conformance and corrective action requirements within the quality management system.
- Support and implement key food safety requirements and quality outcomes.
- Undertake quality internal audits, HACCP enquiries, and respond to customer complaints.
- Ensure staff are aware of and comply with quality management systems.
- Qualifications in HACCP or AusMeat Specification Qualifications, or a quality assurance background in a food manufacturing environment.
- Operational experience in a meat processing facility.
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Commitment to company values and food safety culture.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Attention to detail, initiative, time management, and follow through.
