Job Summary

This is an entry-level position that provides on-the-job training and offers the opportunity to learn and grow within the industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained, overseeing quality control of raw material through to finished product, and identifying and escalating food safety and quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality and food safety inspections within our production facility
  • Monitor and inspect manufacturing areas to verify compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Identify and escalate food safety and quality issues
  • Exercise good communication and consultation practices with the QA team and other teams
  • Ensure all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met
  • Report and corrective action of non-conforming products and work-in-progress
  • Liaise with production staff and management to address quality issues

Requirements:

  • Relevant study in Food Technology (graduates and students welcomed to apply)
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in FMCG Food industry environment
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, SQF, food processing, and manufacturing
  • Dedication to learning and a can-do attitude
  • Excellent planning and communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and attention to detail

  • Part-time, permanent role working 2-3 days per week
