About the Position

Seeking a Speech Therapist to join a supportive private practice in Shepparton. This role involves working with diverse clients of all ages, including private and NDIS cases, addressing various presentations such as ADHD, ASD, and cognitive issues. Therapy sessions will be conducted in conjunction with our support team, including Support Workers, Parents, Teachers, and other healthcare professionals.

You will be responsible for conducting detailed standardized assessments and reports, providing evidence-based treatment plans.

This is a full-time opportunity, but part-time considerations will also be made. Sponsorship for international candidates may be considered.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA registration
  • Previous experience collaborating with clients and managing common presenting issues
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities (NDIS) or other health conditions desired
  • Ability to implement interventions for various issues, including ADHD, anxiety, personality, and mood disorders, trauma, etc.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Autonomy and teamwork capabilities
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Empathetic and friendly personality
  • Hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance
  • Current driver's license and car ownership
  • COVID-19 vaccinated
  • Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check requirements
  • First-Aid and CPR certification
  • Eligibility to work permanently in Australia
