Flexible Speech Pathology Professional
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and health conditions, providing practical solutions to promote independence and safety at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise independence for frail-aged and people with disabilities in their homes through goal-oriented care planning and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with allied health staff to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that cater to individual client needs.
- Supervise allied health assistants as required to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Work effectively with clinicians in the RAHT team to provide holistic care to referred clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and SPA registration.
- Proven experience in adult dysphagia management, videofluoroscopy, AAC, and community experience.
- Ability to work with a range of health conditions, including progressive neurological disorders.
- Current driver's licence and car (required).
- Police Check and eligibility to work permanently in Australia.
