Job Opportunity: Spa Manager

Delaware North Australia is seeking an experienced Spa Manager to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. Our Lagoon Day Spa is a luxurious oasis set amidst breathtaking tropical gardens, offering 8 treatment rooms with private courtyards, outdoor showers, relaxation areas, and a swimming lagoon.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall growth of retail product sales, visitation, and optimizing the customer experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints in a proactive and professional manner
  • Promoting and encouraging further spa treatments and add-on sales to increase revenue
  • Maintaining a harmonious and peaceful environment within the spa, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Driving cost minimization through effective budget planning, labor management, and cost of goods management
  • Leading a team of therapists, providing training, coaching, and ongoing support to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met, including stock management and ordering
  • Managing the efficient booking of treatments to maximize revenue and therapist time
  • Rostering therapists to cover all treatments and boutique operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in leading, training, and developing a highly effective team
  • Proven experience managing budgets with a record of financial achievement
  • Experience in 4/5-star hotels or resorts, with a strong understanding of luxury spa operations
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and excellence in customer service
  • Ability to provide support and constructive feedback to employees
  • Management of performance reviews and career development opportunities
