We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Officer to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Northern Territory. As a Senior Security Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of guests, employees, and property, coordinating with the security team to enforce rules and regulations, and responding to incidents or emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of the casino, hotel, and resort areas to ensure a secure environment.
- Review and analyze security-related reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and Territory legislation, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Provide first aid and emergency response services as needed.
- Attend training courses to stay up-to-date on compliance and regulatory enforcement procedures.
- Proven experience in leading a strong team and managing security operations.
- Extensive experience in a security role, with a strong background in security management.
- Ability to provide effective, efficient, and responsive security services.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on a rotating roster and respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
- Security License/Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government.
- First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA) or willingness to obtain.
- Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) or willingness to obtain.
- Subject to the approval of a Casino Operative Licence, which involves a criminal and financial history check.
