The Role
- This role involves providing administrative support to the Executive Team, which includes coordinating day-to-day operations, managing correspondence, reports, and publications.
- Maintain the electronic calendar and confidential filing systems for the Executive Team in line with Department of Education guidelines.
- Support the team in various tasks such as research, critical incident management, and building connections between students, families, and community agencies.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Team, including coordination of daily operations and management of correspondence, reports, and publications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including electronic calendars and confidential filing systems in accordance with Department of Education guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of agendas, minutes, and other meeting documents, as well as assist with event planning and execution.
- Collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders to manage vacancy processes and develop solutions to complex problems.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in administration and executive support services, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with senior personnel and internal/external clients.
- Proficiency in using information technology packages and systems, including database creation, data analysis, and report development.
- Sound research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide effective solutions.
- Initiative and strong organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and delegate responsibilities appropriately.
What You Will Need
- A qualification or extensive experience in administration and/or executive support.
- An understanding of Department of Education policies and procedures, particularly in relation to confidentiality and record-keeping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and systems, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
