Job Title: Mine Scheduling Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mine Scheduler to join our team at the Super Pit in Kalgoorlie.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity which allows you to utilise your previous skills and experience in scheduling, sequencing, and execution of daily and/or weekly plans.

  • Schedule and sequence daily and/or weekly plans.
  • Identify risks and opportunities on daily and/or weekly planning.
  • Liaise with production, geology, geotech, maintenance departments to ensure monthly plan is followed.
  • Analyse production data and statistics to amend schedules accordingly.
  • Timely delivery of two-weekly plans and schedules.
  • Work on ramps and haul network designs.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders regarding sequencing, scheduling, and execution of the plan.

The successful candidate will have excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI, competent in using mine planning and design software such as Deswik, Fleet control. Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline is required.

The ideal candidate will possess good communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with minimum 2 years' relevant experience in the mining industry.
