Finance Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Mt Waverley. The successful candidate will take on a broad range of finance administrative responsibilities, including:

  • Finalising construction processes and ensuring timely completion.
  • Closing or investigating Purchase Orders to maintain accurate records.
  • Updating job statuses to reflect current progress.
  • Processing customer refunds in accordance with company policies.
  • Reviewing requests and supporting documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Preparing payment requests for approval.
  • Maintaining accurate Chromagen account records.
  • Sending Plumber certificates as required.
  • Creating credit notes for STCs and rebates to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Allocating credits to individual jobs to maximise efficiency.
  • Reconciling accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
  • Administering BWI - Warranty insurance to protect customer interests.
  • Placing insurance orders online for seamless processing.
  • Paying invoices via credit card to facilitate timely payments.
  • Coding invoices to jobs for accurate tracking.
  • Processing amendments to reflect changing circumstances.
  • Processing BC data requests to support business decisions.
  • Assisting with audit requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Working on ad hoc projects to drive business innovation.
  • Contributing to business innovation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining internal relationships to foster a collaborative environment.
