Landfill Operations Lead
We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee our landfill operations at the Springmount site.

This leading recycling, service and water company has 1,100 employees and 38 business locations across Australia. We have been operating in Australia for 40 years, servicing over 24,000 commercial and industrial customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily landfill operations at the Springmount site.
- Implement cost-effective, efficient and safe waste services.
- Liaise with drivers and ensure vehicles are well-maintained.
- Communicate with drivers and assist with vehicle maintenance as needed.
- Be prepared to operate machinery and drive trucks during staff shortages.
- Provide on-site environmental reporting and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist management in identifying investment opportunities to enhance efficiency and revenue.
Required Skills
- Operational experience within waste or heavy industry.
- Able to drive process improvements and enhancements.
- Heavy machinery experience is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and understanding of client requirements.
- Influencing and negotiating skills.
- Team player with a willingness to support and help when required.
