Administrative Support Officer - Technology & Innovation

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support across procurement, travel, events, and office operations to ensure these functions run efficiently.
  • Raise and process purchase requisitions accurately while ensuring full compliance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Verify invoices promptly and manage goods receipting to guarantee timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Assist in setting up new suppliers within the finance system and maintain accurate records of third-party suppliers managed via contracts or legal instruments.
  • Support travel planning by booking flights, accommodation, events, transportation, and managing related logistics for the team.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and contractors by coordinating inductions, documentation, exit sessions, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience providing high-quality administrative support within a busy office environment where accuracy is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Planner) Strong organisational abilities paired with excellent time management skills that enable you to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining accuracy in financial transactions and well-organised records.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to build rapport with colleagues across departments as well as external partners or vendors.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and respectful engagement with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort with learning new business productivity tools or technologies quickly as processes evolve within the organisation.
  • A strong sense of accountability combined with pride in contributing positively towards shared team goals.
