Experienced Monitoring Engineer Required for Government Department

We are seeking an experienced monitoring engineer to join our team in Canberra. This is a full-time position offering flexible working arrangements, including remote work with periodic travel to Canberra.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the RoleThis role offers the opportunity to work on advancing monitoring capabilities within a critical government department's digital services. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, configuring and managing Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, and Splunk for robust monitoring, implementing and integrating new monitoring toolsets, and coordinating service requests and incident responses under the ITIL framework.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline operations.
- Configure and manage Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, and Splunk for robust monitoring.
- Implement and integrate new monitoring toolsets for enhanced performance.
- Coordinate service requests and incident responses under the ITIL framework.
- 5+ years in technical operations within secure environments, with strong analytical skills.
- Experience in Azure resource monitoring, diagnostics, and alert configurations.
- Proficient in DevOps, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code with Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Skilled in Kusto Query Language (KQL) and application log analysis for troubleshooting.
