Carpenter Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled carpenter with leadership experience to lead and motivate high-performing teams.

About the Role
  • Be responsible for onsite management and coordination of a work crew and/or contractors, ensuring safe and efficient completion of projects.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members, helping them to develop their skills and reach their full potential.
  • Supervise a team to carry out maintenance of bridges and drainage structures in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deal with routine problems that arise during the course of work through the application of acquired knowledge and reference to standard guidelines and manuals.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and processes, offering suggestions for improvement and contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
  • Perform carpentry trade activities, including construction and maintenance of bridge structures across the region.
Requirements
  • Hold a Carpentry Licence/Trade certificate and have successfully completed a Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a current Construction Industry White Card and be able to work at heights, with a willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing requirements as directed.
