\Senior Quantitative User Experience Researcher Role\

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative User Experience Researcher to join our team.

\About the Job\

This role involves conducting research end-to-end for high impact, guiding stakeholders to collaborate with research to achieve goals. You will initiate research efforts aligned with Product Vertical goals in the medium- and long-term with a well-informed understanding of the business.

  • Formulates programmes of study and cumulative knowledge sharing relevant to the strategic objectives of their teams.\
  • Leads projects that involve collaboration with other stakeholders.\
  • Accounts for the pros and cons of various research methodologies, and mentors others in using techniques and tools for high-quality execution.\
  • Expertise in evaluating research opportunities, especially with ambiguous requests (importance, urgency, impact).\
  • Ability to manage, challenge, and shape inbound research requests, proposing solid research projects or programs.\
  • Excellent project execution, exploring alternate methods, mixed methods, and innovative approaches.\
  • Deep understanding of the pros and cons of quantitative and qualitative research, and applying this knowledge to direct projects to appropriate methods.\
  • Triangulation of findings, methods, and theories to ensure reliability and depth of insight.\
  • Ability to maximize value and efficiency of research by applying secondary research and expert inspection methods.\
  • Solid knowledge of software tools common in the field (surveys, diary studies, analysis) and the ability to apply the right tool to the problem.\
  • Experience planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing, and communicating research.\
  • Strong critical thinking beyond business requests.\
  • Excellent storytelling and communication, able to speak fluently with business people, product teams, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders (in English).\
  • Enjoys collaborative work in a data-driven and creative environment.\

    • Masters Degree or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field.\
    • 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains.\
    • Expert in quantitative research (log analysis, internal metrics triangulation, survey design, response effects, sampling, crosstabs, statistical concepts).\
    • Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methods (interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing).\
    • Able to describe user problems and business opportunities to stakeholders using both quantitative and qualitative data.\
    • Fluent English speaker.\
