We are seeking an experienced Fleet Conversion Specialist to join our team in Altona. This is a key role that involves setting and delivering technical standards across the Fleet Conversion Business network, promoting excellence throughout.
Responsibilities- Identify potential technical issues within the dealer network and develop strategies to address them, including dealer visits where necessary.
- Provide technical support to vehicle processing centres and assist with training staff on Standard Operating Procedures for new vehicles.
- Offer qualified mechanical and electrical advice to customers on vehicle specs.
- Create layout drawings using CAD software to demonstrate concepts or vehicle layouts for internal and external customers.
- Generate quotes and bills for labour estimation times.
- You have previous experience in Fleet Conversions environments within the automotive industry.
- You hold relevant qualifications or experience in motor vehicle engineering.
- You have experience with CAD software and programs.
- You have exposure to emergency/mine spec/tool of trade fit outs and ADR compliance rules.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCad Drawing is desirable but not required.
- You possess strong presentation skills, analytical and negotiation abilities, and excellent communication skills.
