Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Technical SEO Manager to spearhead our digital performance and visibility. As the key expert in this role, you will lead and execute our SEO strategy across various brands, collaborating with development, content, compliance, analytics, and product teams.

This pivotal position demands a deep understanding of technical expertise, site optimization, and strategic roadmap planning. You will be responsible for driving organic search performance, enhancing user experience, and ensuring seamless integration between technology and business objectives.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on technical SEO experience, preferably in regulated industries. A strong background in agency work, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills is also essential. Proficiency in tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console, and a solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS are must-haves.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Owning and driving the technical SEO roadmap for all digital properties
  • Conducting regular site audits to identify crawl, indexation, and performance issues
  • Implementing structured data, schema markup to enhance SERP features
  • Collaborating with development teams on SEO requirements for new builds, migrations, and platform updates
  • Analyzing crawl logs, Core Web Vitals, and other performance indicators
  • Monitoring competitive sites and industry trends to maintain SEO leadership

A key requirement is hands-on technical SEO experience (regulated industry experience is a plus), Agency experience is ideal, and a passion for driving change. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, proficiency with tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS and their impact on SEO, Experience optimising large, complex websites with dynamic content, Familiarity with accessibility standards, Core Web Vitals and mobile-first indexing, Strong analytical skills and experience using GA4, BigQuery or similar platforms for performance analysis.
