Your Role in Our Culinary Team

We are excited to offer multiple career opportunities within our Catering division located at our facilities. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef - Operations, your primary responsibility will be to prepare food items in a production-style kitchen, adhering to established specifications and recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items in accordance with approved specifications and recipes, ensuring timely completion within designated schedules.
  • Inspect all materials and food items to guarantee they are utilized before spoilage occurs.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas at all times.
  • Oversee the tasks performed by Catering Assistants and less experienced chefs in your designated section.
  • Ensure efficient sanitation services, waste disposal, and chilling systems that comply with the Gate Gourmet HACCP plan.
  • Compile necessary reports and documentation as required.
  • Promote a safe working environment consistently.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Experience in a bulk cooking environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Vocational training in culinary arts and related hygiene courses is highly regarded.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work across a 7-day roster.

Please Note: This operation does not run 24 hours, and there are no split shifts.
