Job Description

A Dining Support Specialist will play a vital role in delivering efficient and high-quality catering support services within our Home. They will work closely with our clinical and care teams to create a positive dining experience for residents, promoting their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up each servery and dining area ready for each meal period in line with established standards.
  • Preparing trolleys for tea breaks and supper.
  • Cleaning and maintaining areas where food is prepared and served, adhering to Food Safety Program guidelines.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of these areas.
  • Assisting with meal preparation when required.
  • Monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Plan, including temperatures, cleaning schedules, receipt of goods, etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. You will also have the ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
