Dining Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals under the supervision of the cook or head chef, which may include chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes.
- Serving Meals: Help serve meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
- Dining Area Setup: Set up dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items like cutlery, plates, and glasses are in place.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area. They may also help with cleaning kitchen surfaces and storage areas.
- Resident Interaction: Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during mealtimes, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.
- Food Handlers Certificate.
- Adaptability, passion, and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative teamwork skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
