About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic students to join our team as Student Ambassadors. As representatives of The University of Notre Dame Australia, you will play a key role in assisting with the delivery of events and activities that engage future students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the University in a positive and professional manner at various events, including Open Days, university expos, on-campus days for high school students, and events on high school campuses.
  • Proactively engage future students and other stakeholders, sharing your experiences of university life with diverse audiences.
  • Lead campus tours for individuals and groups of prospective students.
  • Deliver workshops and presentations to high school students and parents about Notre Dame, admissions, scholarships, transition into university, and what university is like.
  • Undertake tasks such as organizing merchandise, data entry, event preparation, social media, and phone calls to students.
  • Attend training, team meetings, and other development opportunities as scheduled during the year.

Requirements

  • Have completed at least one semester of study at The University of Notre Dame Australia by the end of 2024 and have at least one year of study remaining.
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
  • Be available to work at events outside of regular business hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Compensation Package

The hourly rate for this position is $44.85 AUD + 14.25% superannuation, based on the HEW2.1 rate in New South Wales and Western Australia. This is a casual opportunity, with pay commensurate with experience and qualifications.
