About the M1 South - Blackhill to Tomago Project

This project involves the delivery of a 10-kilometer dual carriageway motorway extension between Black Hill and Tomago. The project team is working on building eight bridges, including a 2.6-kilometer viaduct over the Hunter River.

One of the key responsibilities of this role is to work closely with the projects engineering and supervisory team to ensure timely delivery of program requirements from a cost and time perspective.

  • Manage project quality systems, ensuring inspections, checklists, documentation, and record-keeping are up to date.
  • Contribute to planning and programming activities, ensuring effective project management.
  • Assist with procurement and supplier management to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in Tier 1 civil infrastructure projects.
  • Degree qualified Civil Engineer with at least three years postgraduate experience.
  • Understanding of contemporary construction methodologies and practices.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to deliver results under pressure.
