Project Manager: Oil and Gas Sector

The successful candidate will lead engineering, planning, and coordination efforts from contract award through to project delivery and on-site installation.


  • Develop and execute project plans, work scopes, and budgets to achieve timely completion.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members regarding design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of piping systems and infrastructure.
  • Compile technical information and drawings for work packs, develop material takeoffs (MTOs) with an understanding of material grades and schedules.
  • Manage procurement activities and subcontractors within project specifications.
  • Prepare project reports, forecasts, and costing statements.
  • Closely monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as required.

Key Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in multi-disciplinary project teams in the Australian Energy/Oil & Gas sector.
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
  • Knowledge of engineering activities related to offshore project lifecycles, from Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) to decommissioning.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Project.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering).
