{"About the Role": "We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team at ALPA, a leading Indigenous corporation in Australia. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial reporting and analysis to support business objectives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and balance sheets for assigned business units
* Preparing accurate reconciliations for all businesses/divisions under your ownership
* Month-end close, including accruals and pre-payments
* Grant accounting and government project accounting
* Preparation and submission of BAS and other ATO requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
* CA/CPA is highly desirable
* Previous experience in a financial and accounting role
* Power BI knowledge and advanced analytical skills
* Highly organized and efficient with great attention to detail
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
