Service Technician Role

We seek a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the South East Print Production department. This position involves installing and supporting Colour and B&W print production equipment, along with associated software solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Install and support Colour and B&W print production equipment and software solutions.
  • Conduct on-site Corrective and Preventative maintenance to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the VIC Service Team and report directly to the Service Delivery Manager.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience working with high-volume production printers, digital presses, or similar equipment (Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Fuji, Canon, etc.).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • A strong understanding of print workflows, colour quality, and finishing processes is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for engaging confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical field service experience, preferably with production printers, digital presses, or high-volume print systems.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills are necessary.
  • A solid grasp of network connectivity, print servers, and production print environments is required.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and attention to detail skills are expected.
