Production Specialist Job Summary

As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining digital printing equipment to produce high-quality prints efficiently. Your tasks will include ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards, as well as assisting with finishing tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and calibrate printers based on job specifications and order requirements, ensuring quick changeovers and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor print quality and perform routine maintenance to avoid issues that could impact output.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to meet daily output targets and deadlines.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate major ones when necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of job runs, materials, and machine usage.
  • Supportive Role: Assist with finishing tasks as needed, including trimming, guillotining, padding, binding, die cutting, folding, laminating, UV coating, packing, scoring, and perforation.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing or operations is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, knowledge of Lean principles, and industry experience are desirable.
  • Attributes: Flexibility, adaptability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
Additional Requirements:
  • Shift Work: Ability to do shift work, if required.
  • Residency: Permanent resident status is mandatory.
