The University of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Officer to support the implementation of initiatives related to respectful behaviors and gender-based violence prevention.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate project delivery, develop project plans, and provide operational guidance on initiatives related to respectful behaviors and gender-based violence prevention.
- Conduct systemic reviews, high-level evaluations, and project-specific research to inform recommendations.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery, promotion, and evaluation.
- Contribute to aligning initiatives with relevant legislation and embed evaluation into future programs.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least four years of experience or an equivalent combination.
- Proven expertise in research, data analysis, scoping, and evaluation in large-scale settings.
- Effective interpersonal skills, advanced written and oral communication skills, and current knowledge of gender-based violence, student support, and workplace sexual harassment legislation.
- Holder of a current Blue Card or ability to obtain one.
- Postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline.
- Knowledge of the Australian higher education sector and current issues impacting student experience.
- Experience in compliance, risk management, and policy interpretation in complex organizations.
