Site Leadership Role

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious individuals to step into a larger role with a strong pipeline of commercial and retail projects.

The Second-in-Charge Foreman will support site leadership on two upcoming projects north of Brisbane, ensuring smooth daily site operations and successful delivery of projects.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a Foreman or Leading Hand in commercial construction and possess sound knowledge of construction processes and subcontractor management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site operations to maintain productivity and workflow
  • Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure adherence to WHS regulations, environmental standards, and quality benchmarks
  • Plan and sequence works to keep projects on schedule and coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and materials handling
  • Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes
  • Lead daily pre-starts and toolbox talks, promoting a strong safety culture and maintaining site records including SWMS, ITPs, and daily reports
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Foreman or Leading Hand in commercial construction
  • Sound knowledge of construction processes and subcontractor management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive site performance
