Carer Peer Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an individual with personal experience of caring for a family member or person with mental ill health to join our team as a Carer Peer Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to carers and families
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary treating teams to ensure holistic care
  • Ensuring unique needs of families are understood and supported through empowerment and education

Key Qualifications:

  • Personal experience of caring for a family member or person with mental ill health
  • Experience working in a Carer Peer role
  • Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Intentional Peer Support Training (desired)
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
  • Will to undergo a Background Check
