Employer Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Employer Engagement Specialist to join our team. As an Employer Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in building strong relationships with clients, employers, and relevant agencies to deliver high-quality customer service and engagement.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for identifying job-ready clients and providing them with employment opportunities, resulting in either job matches or job creation.
  • You will engage with job-ready clients across regions using various methods, including on-site, off-site, and remote interactions.
  • You will maintain up-to-date labour market information and develop strategies to meet demands of shortage sectors.
  • You will provide support and advice to employers on training and ongoing employment support provided by us, including departmental wage subsidies and incentives.

About You:

To succeed as an Employer Engagement Specialist, you will need to have a proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, peers, and relevant agencies. You will also need to be able to assess labour market demand and supply, and build strategies to address this.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, peers, and relevant agencies.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and compliance focus.
  • Ability to work within stringent KPIs and demonstrate experience in exceeding targets.
  • Proven ability to manage time and workload effectively to business priorities in a challenging environment.
  • Solid computer literacy and data management skills.
  • A satisfactory Police Check and current Driver's Licence.

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in Employment Services or Marketing would be advantageous.
  • Solid experience in Employment Services and understanding of strategies to address barriers to employment.
  • Knowledge of contemporary recruitment practices and procedures.
