We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Female Medical Officer to join our team at Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to our clients in a culturally responsive manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Services: Deliver primary health care services to our clients, including routine check-ups, health assessments, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
- Work with a Multi-Disciplinary Team: Collaborate with our team of health professionals, including nurses, allied health staff, and other medical officers, to provide comprehensive care to our clients.
- Provide Expert Medical Advice: Offer expert, best-practice medical advice to our clients, in line with the CARPA Manual and clinical leadership.
- Support Other Medical Officers: Provide support and guidance to other medical officers, including registrars and locum GPs, to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services.
- Facilitate Professional Development: Facilitate professional development and assist with educational needs of health staff, including registrars and other medical officers.
- Provide Advice on Key Client and Public Health Events: Provide advice on key client and public health events, including outbreaks and other health-related issues.
Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal community-controlled organization committed to achieving health equity for Aboriginal people in the Barkly region. We employ over 100 people across a diverse range of roles in our key sections of Health Services, Public Health, Stronger Families, Business Services, People and Capabilities, and Corporate Governance Services.
About You- Demonstrated Experience: You will have demonstrated previous experience delivering primary health care services, preferably within an Aboriginal community as a general practitioner.
- Accredited GP Registrar Supervisor: You will be an accredited GP registrar supervisor.
- Current or Eligible Registration: You will be currently registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA as a medical officer in the specialty of general practice.
- Recognized Clinical Experience: You will have recognized clinical experience and/or postgraduate qualifications.
- Cultural Competence: You will have respect for and responsiveness to Aboriginal culture and protocols.
- Current Driver's Licence: You will hold a current driver's licence.
- OCHRE Card: You will hold an OCHRE Card (Working with Children) or be able to apply.
- Current Valid Police Check: You will hold a current valid police check.
- Fully Vaccinated: You will be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
