Female Medical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Female Medical Officer to join our team at Anyinginyi Health, an Aboriginal community-controlled organization committed to achieving health equity for Aboriginal people in the Barkly region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical services and client-centered care to our clients in a culturally responsive manner.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of health staff to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and effective healthcare services.
- Provide expert medical advice and leadership to support the development of best practice in primary care.
- Support the professional development and educational needs of health staff, including registrars and locum GPs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of health programs and services that address the needs of our clients.
- Demonstrated experience delivering primary health care services, preferably in an Aboriginal community as a General Practitioner.
- Accredited GP Registrar supervisor.
- Current or eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Medical Officer in the specialty of General Practice.
- Recognized clinical experience and/or postgraduate qualifications.
- Respect for and responsiveness to Aboriginal culture and protocols.
- Current Driver's licence.
- OCHRE Card (Working with Children) or the ability to apply.
- Current valid Police Check.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
