Female Medical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Female Medical Officer to join our team at Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to our clients in a culturally responsive manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Services: Deliver primary health care services to our clients, including routine check-ups, health assessments, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
- Work with Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate with our team of health professionals, including nurses, allied health staff, and other medical officers, to provide comprehensive care to our clients.
- Provide Expert Medical Advice: Offer expert, best-practice medical advice to our clients, including guidance on health and wellness, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Support Clinical Team: Provide support and guidance to other medical officers, including registrars and locum GPs, to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services.
- Facilitate Professional Development: Facilitate professional development and education for our health staff, including training and workshops on best-practice clinical care.
Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is a community-controlled organization committed to achieving health equity for Aboriginal people in the Barkly region. We employ over 100 people across a diverse range of roles, including health services, public health, and corporate governance.
Requirements- Demonstrated Experience: Demonstrated previous experience delivering primary health care services, preferably within an Aboriginal community as a general practitioner.
- Accredited Supervisor: Accredited GP registrar supervisor.
- Registration: Current or eligible for registration with AHPRA as a medical officer in the specialty of general practice.
- Clinical Experience: Recognized clinical experience and/or postgraduate qualifications.
- Cultural Competence: Respect for and responsiveness to Aboriginal culture and protocols.
- Driver's Licence: Current driver's licence.
- Working with Children Check: OCHRE Card (Working with Children) or the ability to apply.
- Police Check: Current valid police check.
- Covid-19 Vaccination: Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
