Research Scientist Role in Paediatric Oncology

The successful candidate will perform cytogenetic and genomic assays for clinical case analysis, supporting paediatric oncology through data analysis and reporting. They will contribute to quality compliance and staff training in laboratory processes, support campus efforts related to gender equity diversity inclusion and wellbeing, and maintain proficiency in all genetic and genomic assays and procedures relevant to current work.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Applied Science and/or Honours, be eligible for a Graduate Membership of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists, and possess a minimum of 36 months of employment in an IANZ NATA accredited oncology cytogenetics laboratory.
