Job Title: Social Worker, Casual

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists to work with our multidisciplinary health care team based across the Tweed Valley, Murwillumbah District and Byron Central Hospitals.

Casual and Temporary contracts of up to 12 weeks are available in Clinical areas: Adult Inpatient and Outpatient services. Our team provides clinical supervision and support to all experience levels.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and appropriate Social Work assessment and intervention as an integral part of the healthcare team for patients/clients of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing Social Work assessment and intervention to patients/clients
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Participating in clinical supervision and peer support

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential
