Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experts dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities in our systems and infrastructure.
  • Analyse and prioritise vulnerabilities based on severity and potential impact to the organisation.
  • Collaborate with system owners to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and track progress of remediation efforts.
  • Perform vulnerability scans and assist with penetration testing.
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in information security or vulnerability management.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys.
  • Familiarity with common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and buffer overflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or SSCP.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
  • Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
