About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Technician Advanced to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising technical teams, ensuring high-quality services and workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with service level agreements and corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve service delivery objectives, including communication with clinical staff, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
  • Manage work area activities, prioritize tasks, and oversee the scheduling of work programs to meet established standards and procedures.
  • Analyse complex technical issues related to health technology equipment and systems.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of technical standards, procedures, training, and workplace processes at both local and state-wide levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A proven track record in maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and technical support of health technology equipment and associated networks.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including clinical staff, equipment suppliers, service providers, team members, and managers.
  • The ability to utilise information systems and software to manage, analyse, and present data.
  • A commitment to quality management principles and continuous quality improvement.
