About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to advance surgical care and improve patient lives as a clinical expert for Mako-assisted procedures.

As the primary in-theatre specialist, you will provide real-time technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff during joint replacement surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will serve as the Mako system expert, collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the robotic platform.

  • You will conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.

  • You will maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.

  • You will provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.

  • You will travel across the region to support multiple hospital sites.

  • Orthopaedic clinical support

  • Biomedical science/engineering

  • Medical device experience

  • Operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience

  • Physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure

  • Human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
