About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Premium and Credit Account Manager to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing premium and credit accounts for our Workers Compensation clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process renewals and annual adjustments to premium
  • Identify and report risks that may impact the business
  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures for securing and handling company and client information
  • Achieve monthly productivity levels as designated by management
  • Analyze and forecast client premium projections
  • Respond to premium-related queries via phone, email, or client visit
  • Maintain accurate employer information and workplace details
  • Assess and allocate Workers Compensation Industry Classifications, Premium Calculations, Succession & Grouping
  • Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
  • Create arrangements for premium repayment in line with GBS and VWA guidelines
  • Comply with the Accident Compensation Act 1985, Premiums Order, and other relevant legislative requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Proactively manage the debtor position to maintain external business relationships
  • Attend internal and external training courses to update technical knowledge and personal development
  • Control the value, number, age, and proportion of outstanding premium while maintaining scheme benchmarks
  • Investigate legal recovery action as required
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Workers Compensation/Premium and Credit Management experience
  • Experience in a client service role
  • Knowledge of general business and administrative practices
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • PC literate - Database and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Industry-specific qualifications highly regarded
  • Coaching and mentoring skills highly regarded
