About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trials Research Governance Officer to join our Research Ethics & Compliance Support team at the University of New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical trials governance support to the Human Research Manager and the Director, Research Ethics Compliance
  • Oversee compliance and regulatory requirements for clinical trials in accordance with UNSW requirements
  • Contribute to strategic and operational projects across the Research Ethics Compliance Support office
  • Support the delivery of Division of Research & Enterprise goals
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in clinical trials research governance
  • High-level understanding of codes and legislation related to clinical trials and research governance
  • Ability to interpret regulations effectively
  • Experience in safety monitoring and compliance reporting processes for clinical trials
  • Advanced level written and verbal communication skills
  • High-level organisational skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks and operate autonomously
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft 365 and other relevant systems and applications
