Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee maintenance operations for our Maritime products, including Robot Submarines, and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability of our Maritime Assets. This role requires a highly organized individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.

Maintenance Responsibilities

  • Develop a Product Lifecycle Maintenance function to integrate with customer requirements
  • Recruit and manage a team of skilled technicians and tradespeople for ongoing Seaworthiness of Autonomous Underwater Vessels (AUVs)
  • Establish forward operating facilities for test and maintenance activities
  • Implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for various Maritime systems and equipment
  • Guide the development of maintenance documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures
  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • A suitable trade or engineering qualification
  • 7-10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the maritime industry or analogous Autonomous Systems
  • Strong knowledge of Maritime Systems, including propulsion, electrical, and auxiliary systems
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies and facilities
  • Familiarity with relevant Naval standards, regulations, and maintenance management software
