First Nations Learning Facilitator

We are seeking an experienced Learning Facilitator to join our team at Torrens University Australia. As a key member of our Health Sciences team, you will play a critical role in embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges into our curricula and delivering authentic lived experience to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality academic lessons that thoroughly explore the discipline of First Nations health and wellbeing.
- Work with our Health Sciences team to embed Indigenous knowledges into our curricula and develop culturally appropriate learning resources.
- Provide subject coordination for Australian First Nations People subjects in Public Health and develop learning resources to support academics in embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges into their teaching practices.
- Contribute to the development of links and partnerships with industry and the wider community, particularly those providing health and social support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Undertake administrative tasks as required.
- PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in innovative curriculum development and delivering learning and teaching excellence in face-to-face and online environments.
- Knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and contemporary issues.
- Capacity to contribute to leadership of teaching and administration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
- A passion for educating the health professionals of tomorrow.
