Accounting Operations Lead

The primary objective of this position is to oversee a team of bookkeepers, ensuring seamless client service delivery.
- Provide guidance and technical support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Review work and manage workflow to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Offer strategic bookkeeping advice to clients, tailored to their specific needs and goals.
- Foster strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of clients' businesses, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and meeting their expectations.
To excel in this role, you will require:
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior bookkeeping position, preferably managing a broad portfolio of clients.
- Certification IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
- Experience in managing a team of bookkeepers, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding them.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts.
- Proficiency in cloud-based software (Xero preferred) and other relevant tools.
